The Railroaders strive to continuously give back to the community, and one of the best ways to do so is by making public appearances and meeting fans. Railroaders players, coaching staff and front office staff are available to visit various civic groups, business events, and area schools to speak on the importance of education and participate in extracurricular activities.
Spike, the Railroaders mascot, is making plans to keep busy year-round; appearing in parades, attending school functions, participating in celebrity mascot games, and any other activity imaginable.
During the season, the Railroader players and coaching staff will be available to visit various civic groups, business events, and area schools to speak on the importance of education and participate in extracurricular activities.
The Railroaders will do our best to accommodate as many appearance requests as possible. However, due to the nature of our schedule, not all requests can be accommodated. All appearanes last approximately one hour in length. Front office staff members will speak for free at events, but please note that appearance fees may be associated with requests for players, coaches and Spike. If you are requestig Spike, please be sure to find a suitable changing area with lots of space, a chair, proper air ventilation, and water for the performer (no bathrooms please). Ideal changing areas are offices and conference rooms if available.
