CLEBURNE, Texas -- K.C. Huth hit his first home run of the year, but Sioux Falls recorded 14 hits and cruised to a 6-3 win over the Railroaders at The Depot Saturday night.

Huth’s homer -- a solo shot -- tied the game at two in the fourth inning, and after Oscar Mesa reached on an error, Alex Polston came into score to give Cleburne a 3-2 lead.

Sioux Falls quickly answered with a pair of RBI hits in the fifth -- a triple and bloop single -- to take the lead for good and cruise to a series-clinching win, and their fourth win in five games against Cleburne this year.

Maikol Gonzalez hit an RBI double in the first inning to open the scoring, and Polston singled and scored in his first start after two nights off.

But Josh Hodges gave up seven hits and a pair of runs with three walks and four strikeouts over 3.2 innings, and Dylan Mouzakes gave up four more hits and three runs with a pair of walks and three strikeouts in three innings.

Sioux Falls starter Grady Wood went six innings and gave up three runs on five hits.

The final game of the three-game set is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a free train whistle courtesy of Wells Fargo, and fathers are invited to play catch with their kids for 30 minutes on the field after the game.

Good seats are still available, and tickets can be purchased at or by visiting the ticket office near the home plate gate at The Depot.
