WICHITA, Kansas -- Patrick Mincey gave up three runs over six innings, but Cleburne stranded a season-high 13 runners in a 3-1 loss to the Wichita Wingnuts at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Cleburne took the lead with an RBI groundout from Shawn Zarraga in the fifth inning, but the Wingnuts tied it with a run in fifth and took the lead with two in the sixth en route to their second consecutive wins and a 6.5-game lead atop the South Division.

Maikol Gonzalez finished 3-for-5 and extended his hitting streak to 11, and Axel Johnson added his second consecutive multi-hit effort. James Land went 1-for-3 and Fernelys Sanchez went 1-for-3 with a double and two walks.

While the Railroaders stranded 13, they also stranded nine through the first seven innings, and left two runners on in both the eighth and ninth innings.

Wichita starter Tyler Kane issued a season-high six walks over five innings, but the Wingnut bullpen threw four scoreless innings with four hits and five strikeouts to end the game. Seth Harvey struck out three to earn his sixth save of the year.

The Railroaders return home to The Depot Monday, June 26 to open a three-game set with the Salina Stockade. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at or by visiting the box office located near the main gate at The Depot.
