CLEBURNE, Texas – The Cleburne Railroaders have announced a five-game preseason schedule leading up to Opening Night on May 18, with all games free for the public to attend.
The Railroaders will play three games against the travelling New Jersey Black Sox – all at Cleburne High School – and will wrap up the preseason slate with a pair of games against the Texas AirHogs at The Depot.
The dates for the three-game series against New Jersey are May 10-12, and the dates for the two AirHogs games are May 14 and May 16.
The games on May 10 and 11 will take place at 11 a.m., while the May 12th affair will begin at 7:06 p.m.
Both games against the AirHogs on May 14 and 16 will begin at 7:06 p.m and will be the only preseason games carried live on the Railroader Radio Network.
Both the Black Sox and the AirHogs rounded out Cleburne’s preseason schedule last year, ahead of the club’s inaugural season.
Players report to spring camp starting Monday, May 7. The club will begin the preseason with a 28-man roster that must be cut down to 23 by the season opener.
The Railroaders open their second season with a three-game series against the two-time defending champion Winnipeg Goldeyes May 18 at The Depot. Season tickets and single-game tickets are on sale now by visiting www.railroaderbaseball.com or by calling (817) 945-8705.
