CLEBURNE, Texas — The Cleburne Railroaders are headed back to the American Association Playoffs and will begin their postseason run on the road following the conclusion of the 2026 regular season.
The Railroaders enter the postseason looking to build on a strong finish to the regular season and make a run through the postseason in their pursuit of a Miles Wolff Cup Championship.
The Cleburne Railroaders will play all games of the best-of-three first-round American Association playoff series on the road. Due to the quick turnaround and travel logistics, the decision was made with the health and safety of our players in mind. The Railroaders are excited for the opportunity ahead and look forward to bringing home a first-round series win.
Cleburne concludes the regular season in Kane County, putting the Railroaders in the same region as their likely first-round opponent. Remaining on the road will allow the team two full days of rest and preparation before beginning the postseason.
While the opening round will take place away from Cleburne, the Railroaders hope their postseason road leads right back to La Moderna Field. A first-round series victory would bring playoff baseball home for Games 1 and 2 of the second round on Sept. 14 and 15.
Fans will have an opportunity to come together and support the Railroaders during the opening round. The team will host a Game 2 Watch Party at La Moderna Field on Friday, Sept. 11, giving fans the chance to watch the Railroaders continue their postseason run together. First pitch is at 6:30pm CT. Additional details surrounding the watch party will be announced soon.
The Railroaders thank Cleburne and the entire Railroaders fanbase for their support throughout the 2026 season and look forward to representing the community in the postseason as the team begins its pursuit of a championship.
