We strive to promote literacy and reading comprehension in and outside of the classroom. The Cleburne Railroaders are excited to offer elementary and middle school teachers and their students the chance to become All-Star Readers and participate in our 2024 Spike's Reading Railroad Program.

Spike's Reading Railroad is a free, turn-key, incentive-based program that aims to help students discover the joys and rewards of reading.

To kick off our new reading program, we open an offer to the local schools and classrooms to bring Spike out to read to students! Student's will be provided with a special bookmark that tracks their reading and upon completion can redeem the bookmark at the Railroaders' Ticket Office for a free game ticket!
